Q - What time can we arrive?
A - Cottages will be available from 3.30pm on your arrival day and must be vacated by 10am on your departure day. We can be flexible on these times out of season, please ring to check.
Q - Which day is changeover day?
A - Brambley Bottom Cottage and Mill Cottage changeover day is Saturday, Mole Cottage changeover day is Friday
Q - Are short breaks available?
A - Yes. We offer short break s from September – July, check with Bookings.
Q - Is linen provided?
A - Yes. All our beds are made up for your arrival. We use 100% Egyptian cotton bed linen.
Q - Are any cottages suitable for people with mobility problems
A - Yes, Mole and Mill Cottage may be suitable for someone with mobility problems. Please note that doorways are not necessarily wide enough for wheelchair access.
Q - Are there saucepans and utensils?
A – Yes. All cottages are fully equipped with all cookery equipment.
Q - Is electricity and gas included?
A – Yes. All electricity and gas and heating is included in the price of the cottage.
Q - Are logs for woodburners included?
A - We provide the first basket of logs for woodburners.
Q - Are towels provided?
A – No, but they can be if required. Please see Bookings.
Q - Do you accept dogs?
A - Yes we do welcome dogs at Mill Cottage and Mole Cottage. We do ask for guest's dogs to be kept on a lead within the complex and we do provide a dog walking field.
Q - What will we find in our cottage at the beginning of our stay?
A - We provide tea towels and an initial supply of tea, coffee, sugar, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, liquid soap, bin liners and toilet rolls.
Q - Are there stair gates?
A - In all cottages there are built in stair gates.
Q - Can you supply cots?
A -Yes we can supply cots and highchairs free of charge but do not provide cot linen/bedding.
Q - How far is the nearest beach?
A - We are just 3 miles from Heddon’s Mouth and are also close to Combe Martin, Woolacombe, Croyde, Braunton Burrows and Saunton Sands where you can find many other beautiful beaches.
Q - Can I walk to the beach?
A - Yes. There is a public footpath to Heddon’s Mouth which is about 3 miles away, but it is not a ‘stroll’.
Q - Where is the nearest supermarket?
A - Our nearest supermarkets are small ones in Combe Martin or Tesco in Ilfracombe. There is also a village shop in Parracombe. Sainsburys, Tesco and Asda will all deliver to cottages at the farm although we prefer that you arrange for a delivery on your first full day – we cannot take delivery for you on changeover day.
Q - Is there a restaurant nearby?
A - Yes we have a popular village pub, The Fox and Goose, in Parracombe and the well known Hunters Inn 3 miles away.
Q - Have you got off road parking?
A – Yes, our lane is private and all cottages have allocated parking spaces.
Q - Is there a BBQ?
A - Yes, all cottages have a barbeque.
Q - Are there laundry facilities?
A - There is a washing room with washing machine, overhead and tumble drying (coin operated).
Q - Are there freezers?
A - There are freezers in all cottages. For extra freezer room ask at the farmhouse.
Q - Are owners on-site?
A – Yes, Voley Farm is family run and Carey & Peter are available for any queries or to report any problems to.
Q - Is there anywhere to store bikes?
A – Yes. We have a secure barn for storage of bikes and surf-boards etc.
Q - Are there CD players?
A - Yes there is digital colour tv with Sky Freeview and radio, DVD/CD players and wireless broadband in every cottage
